Bauer is the NCHA Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career following back-to-back outings that led CUW to an important series sweep to keep alive chances for home ice in the postseason. She got things started Friday with a brilliant individual performance, posting the first hat trick of her collegiate career in a 6-0 win over Lawrence. She closed out the scoring in the second with goal No. 1 before adding two more in the third period. On Saturday, she helped get the Falcons on the board first with an assist on the opening goal before adding another helper in the second. She finished the weekend with five points (3G/2A).

Turnage is the first Forester to claim a weekly accolade this winter, earning NCHA Defensive Player of the Week honors for the second time in her career with a flawless pair of outings. Turnage turned away all 38 shots on goal she faced over the weekend as Lake Forest blanked Trine by scores of 6-0 on Friday and then 8-0 on Saturday. She now has four shutouts and a .943 save percentage on the season after posting the perfect 0.00 goals-against average and 1.000 save percentage this week against the Thunder.
