Oh what a night across the NCHA!

Let’s start with the women’s side, where Aurora University made a statement and kept its chances alive for a regular-season title with an impressive 5-1 victory over Adrian College. Darci Matson potted a pair of goals and finished with three points while Tia Glube made 41 saves – including 21 alone in the first period – to help the Spartans knock off the No. 5 team in the land. The final week of the season will be an interesting one … AU heads into play with 38 points, while St. Norbert (40) and Adrian (36) will take on each other. At this point, all three teams still have a chance to grab the Kronschnabel Trophy.

The regular season is complete on the men’s side and the bracket is set after another sensational slate of games Saturday. Home-ice goes to the top four seeds: #1 Adrian (40 points), #2 Aurora (39, had head-to-head tiebreaker over SNC), #3 St. Norbert (39), and #4 Trine (37). Talk about a close race and EVERY game mattering all winter long!
