Freshman Austin Campbell made the start in goal for the Red and White, making 18 saves for his third win of the season.

Lake Forest 7, Lawrence 0

*Thanks in large part to the squad's second six-goal period of the season, the Forester men's hockey team recorded a 7-0 victory at Lawrence University in Friday night's opener of the home-and-home series. Senior forward Mike Violette scored a goal and assisted on three others for his first career four-point game. Forester sophomore goaltender Leo Podolsky posted his second shutout of the season and improved to 9-1-1 on the year with a 2.23 goals against average and .922 save percentage.

Marian 3, Concordia 0

*When a team is able to score in the opening minute of a game, it usually lends itself to a good night. Friday was no different, as the Sabres jumped out early on Concordia Wisconsin and never looked back, winning 3-0. Senior Tyler Klein opened the scoring just 37 seconds into Friday's contest, giving the Sabres a lead they would refuse to relinquish. From the first save to number 36, senior Josh Baker was rock solid for the blue and white, earning his third shutout of the season.
