Adrian finally got on the board with just 2:51 remaining in the third period when Dustin Hebebrand scored an even-strength goal. The Bulldogs then tied it when Hebebrand scored again with just 1:38 left.

RV St. Norbert 4, #10 Adrian 0

*St. Norbert College scored four goals in the second period to account for all of the scoring in a critical 4-0 win over Adrian College in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at Arrington Ice Arena. The Green Knights (15-5-2, 10-4-1 NCHA) entered the game with 19 league points. Adrian (17-5, 10-5) was tied with Lake Forest College and College of St. Scholastica with 20 points entering play Friday. St. Norbert faces Lake Forest at 7 p.m. Saturday in another key game in the league race. St. Norbert pounded home all four of its goals in the second period. All four of the Green Knights' markers were power-play goals, setting a school record for power-play goals in a game.

RV St. Scholastica 3, Concordia Wisconsin 0

*The St. Scholastica women's hockey team topped Concordia University (Wis.) 3-0 Friday night in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) competition at Mars Lakeview Arena. Monika Wiadacher scored the game-winner in the second period to break into the scoring column. Alex Blair and Michelle Rebeck added third-period counters and Lindsay Hartfiel recorded 22 saves for the shutout.

Marian 2, Finlandia 1

*An early goal put the Sabres in the driver's seat, but they would need third period heroics to complete the season sweep of Finlandia and clinch the sixth and final spot in the NCHA Slaats Cup Playoffs, defeating the Lions 2-1. Fresh off the long bus ride, the Sabres wasted no time in getting to work as freshman Lydia Cloud scored her first career collegiate goal just 13 seconds in to put Marian ahead 1-0. Junior Amanda Waigand grabbed her 17th point on the season, earning the helper on Cloud's goal. With time dwindling down, and the chance of overtime looming large, Waigand returned to the stage and sent home her 11th goal of the year to give Marian the lead at 7:25 of the third period. Finlandia attempted to level the playing field by pulling their goaltender with 1:10 left, but were unsuccessful as Marian held on for the 2-1 win.
