ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College NCAA women's hockey team hosted game one of the two-game series against Trine University on Friday night. The Bulldogs came away with a 5-0 victory. The Bulldogs remain undefeated against Trine University in program history with an 18-0 record.

Maya Roy netted the first goal of the game for the Bulldogs.
Jessica Anderson took a shot that was saved by the Trine goaltender, but Roy was there to pick up the rebound.
Adrian added a pair of goals in the second period to lead 3-0 after two periods.
Kathryn Truban picked up the second goal on assists from
Karmen Anderson and
Jocelin Hudanish. Later in the period,
Tia Lascelle scored a goal on assists from
Reaghan Pietrowski and
Karmen Anderson.
Hudanish scored in the third period to lead 4-0 followed by another goal from Truban to lock up the 5-0 win.
Gwen Bowler got the start for Adrian in goal having a light night with six saves. Friday marked the first career shutout for Bowler. The Bulldogs out-shot Trine 75-6 on the night.
Adrian returns to action on the road at Trine University tomorrow night to complete the NCHA series. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
