Bjelland picks up her second career NCHA Offensive Player of the Week honors after a great weekend on the ice in the two-game battle between her No. 10 Bulldogs and No. 13 Augsburg. Bjelland totaled nine shots on the weekend against the Auggies where she found the back of the net twice. One of her goals came on a penalty shot where she faked the goaltender and dropped in through the five-hole to lead 3-0 on Saturday and put the game away.

Goldberg picks up her second consecutive (and third career) NCHA Defensive Player of the Week honors after a flawless pair of outings against 13th-ranked Augsburg. Goldberg recorded back-to-back shutouts in goal over the weekend, extending her shutout streak to three straight games on the year by collecting all 49 saves in the net in the pair of contests. On Saturday, the Bulldogs were forced to kill three 5-on-3 penalties where Goldberg held the Auggies scoreless. She held the opponent to an 0-for-14 showing on the power play in the series, including an impressive 0-for-9 showing in game two’s 1-0 decision.
