Notes from the auxillary stat files.

ADRIAN
The Bulldogs are 5-0 when out-shooting their opponent and 4-0 when leading after two periods ... Their lone loss came when being out-shot by their opponent and when trailing after two periods ... Adrian has already played three one-goal games, going 2-1.

AURORA
The Spartans are 2-0-1 when scoring first ... They've allowed two goals or less in all six of their games, going 2-2-2 ... Aurora is 2-0 when leading after two periods.

CONCORDIA-WIS
The Falcons are 2-0-1 when out-shooting their opponent ... They are 3-0-1 when scoring first and 3-0 when leading after two periods.

FINLANDIA
The Lions have been tied entering the third period twice this season and are 0-1 in one-goal games.

LAKE FOREST
The Foresters are undefeated when out-shooting their opponent (2-0-2), and when they score first (2-0), score three goals or more (2-0) and allow two goals or less (2-0-2).

MARIAN
The Sabres have been tied entering the third period twice this year (0-1-1) and they have allowed two goals or less twice.

NORTHLAND
The 'Jills are looking for their first win of the year, but they've had to play two games versus ranked opponents already ... They have lost by more than three only once and have lost one one-goal game.

ST. NORBERT
The Green Knights are 3-0 when out-shooting their opponent ... They are 2-0 when scoring first and are 2-0 when tied after two periods.

ST. SCHOLASTICA
The Saints have allowed two goals or less in all six of their games ... They are 4-0 when scoring three or more goals ... CSS has been in a tie game entering the third period three times already this year, going 2-0-1.

TRINE
The Thunder is 3-0 when allowing two goals or less ... Trine is 2-0 in one-goal games and when it scores first.

SALE ON SHUTOUTS
There have been 14 shutouts this year already by NCHA goaltenders.  FOURTEEN.  A few of them should get bonus recognition for the huge number of saves while posting a zero.  And Aurora's Becca Binder owns the TWO highest save totals inside a shutout.
