Klaas makes it back-to-back NCHA Offensive Player of the Week honorees for the Saints, who are now 6-1-1 in their past eight games. In a sweep of Marian University that included consecutive 2-1 victories over the weekend, Klaas scored three of the team’s four goals. Making it even more impressive was the fact that she recorded the game-winner in the third period of each contest. Klaas has now scored five goals in the last three games.

Smith becomes the first Bulldog to be named NCHA Defensive Player of the Week this season. She helped lead a strong defensive effort in a sweep of St. Norbert College, as Adrian posted shutout victories by scores of 4-0 and 8-0. In addition to helping the defense hold the Green Knights without a goal - including an 0-for-8 showing on the power play - Smith played a big role on offense as well. She scored five points, netting three goals while adding a pair of assists as the Bulldogs improved to a perfect 14-0-0 in NCHA play this season.

No changes in the national polls this week, as Adrian remains steady at No. 3 in each and Lake Forest College moves to the unanimous No. 6, while St. Scholastica has started receiving votes in the USCHO.com poll. The Saints will have their recent run of success tested next, hosting the Bulldogs for a weekend series as the final month of the regular season opens.
