Metanova earns her first NCHA Offensive Player of the Week honor this season after becoming the Falcons all-time scoring leader with a four-point effort against Marian University Friday. She scored two first-period goals and added two third-period assists to help CUW to the 6-1 win. She now has 87 points (34G/53A) in her career and is also tied atop the Falcons career assists leaderboard.

Walsh is the second straight Bulldog to earn NCHA Defensive Player of the Week. She played a key role in sweeping a St. Scholastica team that came into the weekend on a four-game winning streak and receiving votes in the national polls. Walsh posted a pair of victories, allowing just one goal in the two games. She held the Saints to an 0-for-7 showing on the power play while posting a .973 save percentage and 0.50 goals-against average. The 3-0 shutout on Saturday marked the 12th of her career, helping the Bulldogs make it 30 games unbeaten (29-0-1) in conference play dating back to the beginning of last season. The NCHA honor is the 12th of her career.

With just two weeks remaining in the regular season, all eyes turn to the standings as the NCHA comes down the stretch. Adrian (32 points) and Lake Forest (25) remain entrenched in the top two spots, but then third through fifth are a tight battle - St. Scholastica currently resides in third place with 16 points, with both Marian and Concordia knotted at 12 apiece. Only two of those three teams will move on to the postseason.
