Welcome to 2023!

The NCHA was back on the ice in full force for the first time in 2023 and the action did not disappoint. On the women’s side, it is one more weekend of non-conference action before a return to league play and the NCHA combined to go PERFECT 5-0 on Friday! In addition to shutouts by Adrian and Lake Forest, St. Norbert improved to 10-2-2 on the season with a 2-1 victory over #9 Eau Claire.

On the men’s side, all 10 teams were squaring off in league action, with the spotlight on a matchup of nationally-ranked foes when #12 Aurora hosted #5 St. Norbert – with the Spartans coming out with an impressive 3-1 victory.

Trine finished off Finlandia late, Adrian and Lake Forest each posted lopsided victories and MSOE scored a goal in each period to top Marian.

Aurora moves to 7-0-2 in NCHA play and, with 23 standings points, currently sits five points clear of second-place St. Norbert’s 18.
