Blanck is the NCHA Offensive Player of the Week after netting the game-winner both nights as Marian swept #15 St. Norbert in a home-and-home weekend series. He had three crucial points, starting with the eventual game-winner just 3:53 into Friday’s 4-0 win, while also adding an assist. He topped that when he lit the lamp with 28 seconds remaining in overtime of the finale for the 2-1 victory to help seal his second career weekly NCHA honor. The losses knocked the Green Knights out of the USCHO.com national poll for the first time since January of 2001 - a span of 325 consecutive appearances in the national rankings.

Vorva is the NCHA Defensive Player of the Week for the first time this season - and the seventh time in his career - after allowing just one goal in two games in the Sabres sweep of then-No. 15 St. Norbert. In the opener, Vorva stopped all 33 shots he faced for his eighth shutout, tying the all-time Marian record. He followed that up with another 33 saves in the finale, allowing only a 4-on-4 goal in the first period. Vorva closed out the weekend with a 0.48 goals-against average to go with 66 saves and a .985 save percentage. He also helped lead the penalty kill unit to a perfect weekend holding the Green Knights scoreless on 15 power-play opportunities.
