Rezansoff played a key role as Finlandia picked up a pair of victories on the weekend to leapfrog into a tie for third place in the standings. He earns NCHA Offensive Player of the Week honors after a four-point performance, coming through with a crucial goal and key assist in each win. On Friday, he helped get the Lions on the board with an assist after trailing early, 2-0. He then scored just 29 seconds into the second period to tie things up and send his team on its way to a 7-4 win. Saturday, he again helped cap a comeback after falling behind Northland College, 2-0. His assist made it a new game at 2-2 and his goal ended up the game-winner with just over three minutes to play in a 4-2 win (a late empty-netter iced it).

Babintsev picks up NCHA Defensive Player of the Week honors after coming through in a big way after stepping into the starting lineup following an injury. With four-year starter Kevin Entmaa out, Babintsev helped the Bulldogs top MSOE (3-1) and Concordia Wisconsin (5-3) at home. For the week, he compiled a 2-0 record, 1.08 goals-against average and .953 save percentage in 110:38 of action. He was particularly solid against the Falcons, making several sprawling glove saves among 21 stops in 50 minutes, while allowing just one goal. He is 3-0 with a 1.08 and .948 save percentage on the season.
