Giacomin is the NCHA Offensive Player of the Week after recording back-to-back two-point performances to help Lake Forest win a pair of games and climb into first place in the NCHA South Division standings. Giacomin scored one goal, assisted on another, and was +4 in a 6-0 victory over #7/#6 Adrian Friday. He then scored the first two goals of Saturday’s 4-1 triumph over Trine, with the second-period tally standing up as the game-winner. The Foresters were short-handed for his assist on Friday and first score on Saturday.

Argiropoulos repeats as the NCHA Defensive Player of the Week against another deep field of nominees. Helping him rise to the top of the list was a shutout of #7/#6 Adrian College, snapping a streak dating back to January of 2015 (117 games) since the last time the Bulldogs were shut out. It was also the first win for the Foresters in the all-time series. Argiropoulos nearly posted a perfect weekend as Lake Forest won twice and moved into first place in the division standings. After stopping all 19 shots on goal in Friday’s 6-0 blanking of Adrian, he recorded 19 more saves in a 4-1 triumph over Trine. The only tally against him on the weekend was a 5-on-3 score with 4:05 remaining Saturday, giving him a 0.50 GAA and a .974 save percentage for the weekend.
