Romund earns the first NCHA Offensive Player of the Week award of his MSOE career after helping the Raiders to an unbeaten 1-0-1 mark. He scored a goal in each game of the road trip, netting a power-play tally that put MSOE ahead, 2-1, in the first period of the eventual 3-3 tie against Hamline Friday. On Saturday, he lit the lamp for the game-winner and also had an assist in the 4-2 victory over River Falls.

Didur claims NCHA Defensive Player of the Week honors after an impressive 40-save effort as Concordia Wisconsin upset then No. 13 Marian University, 2-1. The freshman was steady and consistent, posting 13 saves in the first, 14 in the second and 13 more in the third of a one-goal decision in which the game-winner did not come until midway through the final period. He posted a .976 save percentage as the Falcons were outshot, 41-25, helping the team earn its first road win against Marian in program history while also snapping a 10-game losing streak to the Sabres in the series.

Editor’s note: There will be no NCHA Weekly Release for the men’s side next week, due to the light schedule over the holiday break (no games until Dec. 28). The next release will come out Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019.
