Lake Forest College Men and Adrian College Women
Lead Way as NCHA Names All-Academic Teams

With the regular season officially having reached its conclusion last week, the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association has announced today the members of the men’s and women’s 2018-19 NCHA All-Academic Teams.

Lake Forest College led the way on the men’s side, having 18 players from its roster earn spots on the squad. On the women’s side, Adrian College topped the field with 10 players.

Highlighting the way, 23 men’s representatives are earning the academic distinction for the third time in their careers, reaching the standard maximum (players need to sophomores to be considered). They are George Argiropoulos (Lake Forest), Drew Cleereman (Lake Forest), Louis-Philippe De Courcy (Lake Forest), Nick Erb (Adrian), Adam Fauchoux (Concordia Wisconsin), Nick Felan (Lawrence), Braden Hellems (Adrian), Timo Kocar (Finlandia), Ryan Kruss (Lake Forest), Nicholas Lesage (St. Norbert), Bron Loiselle (Lake Forest), James Mathias (Marian), Kris McKinzie (St. Scholastica), Bryce Mitzel (Finlandia), Nick Monfils (Marian), Greg Procopio (Lawrence), Bradley Pung (St. Norbert), Alex Rezansoff (Finlandia), Kyle Salmon (Northland), Stefen Seel (Concordia Wisconsin), Eric Therrien (Concordia Wisconsin), Clay Van Diest (St. Norbert) and Tomas Vesely (Lawrence).

For the women, there is a total of five student-athletes as three-time winners: Christina Pattengale (Concordia Wisconsin), Jill Schneider (Marian), Kelli Sorge (St. Norbert), Lindsey Strainis (Marian) and Ellie Woodman (Concordia Wisconsin).
