He started the weekend with an assist as Adrian blanked the Raiders, 6-0, and then topped it with a brilliant three-goal outing in the 4-1 victory over the Falcons in the season finale. He recorded eight shots in the two games and the hat trick marked the first of his career.

Vorva is the NCHA Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season after helping the Sabres extend their win streak to seven in a row. He had another big weekend, posting a 1.00 goals-against average with 61 total saves to record a .968 save percentage as Marian defeated St. Scholastica and Northland. In the win against CSS, Vorva made 34 saves and set a single-season Marian men’s hockey record with his 17th victory of the season. He then posted his fifth shutout of the campaign the next night, stopping all 27 shots he faced against the LumberJacks.
