The NCHA was back in action Friday night, featuring a marquee matchup between two of the top teams in the country. When the contest was over, #1/#1 St. Norbert was up to the task, claiming a 3-1 victory on the road in front of a sell-out crowd at #5/#7 Adrian. Riley Christensen scored a pair of goals and T.J. Black posted 27 saves.

Marian grabbed a 2-1 victory over Lake Forest on a late goal by Derek Perl, while Northland earned a 6-1 win over Aurora, St. Scholastica cruised past Lawrence and James Ring scored the game-winner in the third to help MSOE top Finlandia 4-3.

On the women’s side, Adrian moved to a perfect 11-0 in league play with a big win over Finlandia, Lake Forest kept pace with a 3-0 shutout of Concordia and CSS edged the Green Knights on a first-period goal by Emily Stegora that stood up as the only score of the night.
