A busy Saturday night in the NCHA saw 10 games on the schedule, with No. 3 St. Norbert doubling up No. 15 St. Thomas, 4-2, to highlight the men’s side. Pijus Rulevičius scored a pair of goals for the Green Knights and T.J. Black improved to 7-0-1 on the season with a 19-save effort. MSOE blanked Superior in a scoreless draw, with Zach Woodman making 32 stops in the shutout.

On the women’s side, Lexi Thomeczek posted a 29-save shutout in St. Scholastica’s 3-0 blanking of Superior and Sarah Bier’s late goal backed the 39-save effort of Lindsey Strainis to help Marian to a 1-1 draw against Eau Claire. Strainis came up big in the overtime session, making 7 of her saves in the extra period alone.
