Suderman also had two assists in the game and earned the helper on Deters' goal.

Concordia freshman Jordan Krebsbach scored the only goal of the second period when he scored an even-strength nugget at 13:27. It was Kresbach's first collegiate goal and it gave CC a 4-1 lead.

The Lumberjacks (2-10-0) tried to get back into the game with a shorthanded goal in the second minute of play in the third period but then Concordia slammed the door shut with two power play goals in a span of 2:21. Tucker Coborn restored the Cobbers' three-goal cushion by scoring at 2:51 and then Deters tacked on the team's sixth goal on the man-advantage situation at 5:12. Coborn earned his second goal of the season while Deters posted his fourth score of the season.

Jordie Bancroft capped the scoring by finding the back of the net at 15:44. Deters was credited with the assist to finish off his three-point night. Deters and Bancroft both have 10 points on the year which is second on the team to Suderman's 13 points.
