ASHWAUBENON, Wis. -- The Augsburg University men's hockey team suffered a 4-0 shutout at the hands of the top-ranked team in NCAA Division III men's hockey, St. Norbert College, on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg outshot St. Norbert by a 37-36 margin, but could not put any pucks past Green Knight goalie T.J. Black, who recorded the shutout win.
• The Green Knights scored with 2:34 left in the first period, then scored twice in the second period and once on the power play in the third period.
• Augsburg was 0-for-8 on the power play in the game.

Nick Schmit (JR, Fargo, N.D./Fargo North HS) had 32 saves in goal for the Auggies.
• Augsburg entered the weekend ranked No. 7 in the USCHO.com Division III national poll and No. 8 in the D3hockey.com national poll, while St. Norbert is the No. 1-ranked team in both national polls.
FOR THE FOES
• Riley Christensen scored the first two goals of the game and assisted on the final goal for St. Norbert.
• Keegan Milligan scored a goal and added an assist, and Peter Bates had the other Green Knights goal.
