MEQUON, Wis. – Saint John's hockey recorded its second tie in as many days, a 2-2 draw at No. 15 Concordia (Wis.), on Saturday, Nov. 25, in Mequon, Wis.

Robb Stautz (Roseville, Minn.) scored what proved to be the game-tying goal for SJU (6-2-2, 2-2-0 MIAC) with 2:18 remaining, 31 seconds after a Johnnie power play expired. Senior forward

Mac Berglove (Elk River, Minn.) made a season-high 39 saves in the tie. SJU went 0-for-5 on the power play, including the aforementioned man advantage with 4:49 to play, and failed to score on 1:45 of a 5-on-3 power play.

Brady Heppner (Crookston, Minn.) gave SJU a 1-0 lead 6:22 into the second with a pretty 2-on-1 goal from freshman forward

Joe Chitwood (Carmel, Ind.) tallied the second assist on the goal, Heppner's fourth of the season and 10th of his career.
Taylor Gauld tied the game at 1-1 for CUW (6-1-1, 3-1-0 NCHA) on the power play, the Falcons' third of the second period, with 1:39 left in the frame. Josh Adkins gave the home team, which went 1-for-6 on the power play, a 2-1 lead with 8:28 remaining.
The Johnnies return to MIAC play with a pair of road games at Saint Mary's next weekend, beginning with a 7 p.m. puck-drop on Friday, Dec. 1, in Winona.
