FOND DU LAC, Wis. -- Completing a sweep of nonconference games in Wisconsin on the weekend, the Augsburg University women's hockey team claimed a 6-3 win at Marian University (Wis.) on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Nikki Nightengale (JR, Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson HS) scored two goals for the Auggies, an even-strength marker from Bridget Wagner (JR, Niles, Ill./Maine South HS) and Emily Ach (JR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS)at the 14:19 mark of the first period, and a power-play goal from Wagner at the 15:44 mark of the third period.
• Wagner had a goal and two assists for the Auggies, while Valerie Whichello (SR, Woodbury, Minn./East Ridge HS) and Bridget Walter (SR, Princeton, Minn./Princeton HS) had a goal and assist each in the game.
• Ach and Mikayla Jones (JR, Oak Park Heights, Minn./B.E. Emerson Prep HS) had two assists each for the Auggies.
• Bailey Beane (SR, Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater HS) scored a second-period goal for Augsburg, while Ellie Tabaka (JR, Maplewood, Minn./Tartan HS), Hollywood Hermanson (JR, Dover, Minn./Dover-Eyota HS) and Kalli Prekker (SO, Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove HS) had assists.
• Augsburg outshot Marian by a 39-21 margin in the game. McKenna Manalli (SR, Byron, Ill./Byron HS) had 18 saves to score the victory in goal for the Auggies.

FOR THE FOES
• Morgan Bolin scored two goals for the Sabres, including a power-play goal in the third period. Abbey Dokken also scored for Marian.
• Lindsey Strainis had 33 saves in goal for Marian.
