ST. PAUL, Minn. -- St. Catherine hockey opened the home series with non-conference opponent Lawrence University with a decisive 6-0 victory at Drake Arena. The Wildcats saw points from eight different players to improve to 3-0 on the season.

Lindsey Hays opened scoring for the Wildcats' with the game-winning goal at 2:12 into the first period with help from sophomore
Maiah Robert.
Rookie
Madi Schwengler made it 2-0 just two minutes into the second period receiving a pass from sophomore
Samantha Lackmann. The Wildcats extended the lead further as junior
Brittany Weber scored her first collegiate goal from sophomore
Abby Pirkl to Hays. The same trio were responsible for the team's fourth goal this from going from Weber to Hays to Pirkl with eleven minutes left in the second.
Senior
Sophia Gorski added two insurance goals in the third period with her first off a pass from Lackmann with 4:46 off the ticker. Lackmann helped Gorski again with just over five to play in the game receiving a pass from sophomore
Lauren Henriksen for the sixth and final goal.
Senior
Elizabeth Kubicek earned the shutout playing 60 minutes making 15 saves.
The Wildcats will complete the series with Lawrence on Saturday at 2 pm.
